Jan Willem Vlaming celebrated 25 years with Electrostart BV. He first joined the Den Helder branch as an intern and stayed on after completing his placement.

John Praat celebrated 25 years with Electrostart BV, marking a major milestone in his time with the company.

Remco, the son of Hans and Wilma, joined Electrostart BV to continue the family business and carry it into its next chapter.

Rebuilding and vehicle repairs became an increasingly important part of the business, creating the need for a larger workshop. Electrostart moved to De Kosterij in Broek op Langedijk, between Alkmaar, Heerhugowaard and Schagen.

The Den Helder branch had outgrown its premises on Fazantenlaan and moved to Torpstraat. This gave the team more room as the company’s activities continued to grow.

After starting out at Damweg 1E, now number 5, Electrostart moved into a newly built workshop at Damweg 17 in Schoorl. The company also became an Eberspächer dealer and Bosch service centre.

Electrostart opened a second branch on Fazantenstraat in Den Helder. The company rebuilt starter motors and alternators, and soon expanded its work to include related electrical repairs.

Hans and Wilma Zoon founded Electrostart BV in a small workshop on Damweg in Schoorl. What began as a family business grew into a specialist in electrical and diesel technology for vehicles and vessels.
